Aluminium is the third most common element that is found and also the most common element in the earth's crust. Increased aluminium levels in the blood may occur due to too much aluminum exposure.Individuals with chronic kidney disease have a higher risk of poisoning as their kidneys are not able to filter out the aluminum out of their bodies, thus causing the aluminum to build up and then bind to the proteins (albumin) in the blood. This aluminium is also found in air, water, soil, and even food. Individuals with a higher risk of exposure and possible poisoning include those who work or live near aluminium mining operations or those who may have chronic kidney disease.
