What does it measure?
The Luteinising Hormone (LH) measures:This test checks the level of luteinizing hormone (LH) in your blood. LH is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland that plays a major role in both the male and female reproductive systems.The LH works closely with another hormone called follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) to control sexual functions. Therefore, the SH level is often analysed along with LH. Women can get their LH values measured to find out their fertility windows on different days of the menstrual cycle. If a woman is trying to become pregnant, the doctor might want to get an LH test multiple times to pinpoint the timing of egg release and increase the chances of conception.

You will get the reports within 6 hours after the collection of the blood sample.
